Job & Business Resource Room

The Canby Center provides a resource room with 5 computers, high speed internet, printer/copier/scanner, fax machine, phone and office supplies that  serves as a place where clients can research and pursue employment opportunities. Clients may schedule an appointment for employment tutoring for assistance with creating or refreshing resumes, cover letters, interviewing and job searching.  Also, an employment packet and information materials are available to clients, as well as tutoring appointments to learn basic computer skills for word processing, emailing and internet browsing.

The resource room may also be used by clients to search for housing opportunities and taking care of general business needs.

Additionally, from 3:30 to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Thursday, for those middle and high school students that do not have access to a computer and/or the internet at school or home, the resource room is available for researching and completing homework.
